Acupuncture is used in both Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. It is considered a safe treatment when provided my a trained practitioner. Traditional Chinese acupuncture has been around for thousands of years. It is a holistic approach to health using the concept of Qi (energy).
Healing is promoted by inserting very small needles along meridians (energy channels) on your body. Some points may be obvious (i.e. around an area of pain), while others are chosen based on your Chinese diagnosis.
Common conditions people seek acupuncture for:
Overall patients feel deep relaxation during their treatments. If you have any questions you can book a free 15-minute consult to see if acupuncture is a good option for you!
Your skin is your largest organ. Changes in your skin may be caused by changes from inside your body. Cosmetic and dermatologic acupuncture is a holistic approach to skin issues using Traditional Chinese Medicine treating your skin both inside and out.
With the use of several of acupuncture needles and facial massage, cosmetic and dermatologic acupuncture can help with toning your face, reducing wrinkles, eczema, psoriasis, acne and more.
It is recommended that you have at least 10 treatments with 2 sessions per week for the first 3-4 weeks. Once changes are seen maintenance treatments can be booked. Some people notice results immediately, but usually lasting results are seen during 5th and 7th treatment.
Treatments include a relaxing facial massage after acupuncture treatment.
For best results treat at first sign of wrinkles!
